This download includes TWO maps, the first of which being the Melandru Mountains and the second of which is a small cavern map called Frostfall. This is probably my first map that included copious amounts of snow and it was a lot of fun to work on! The main map is fairly large and there is tons to explore, so have fun

What do you mean? The music's from Skyrim, which also inspired the name of the second map, Frostfall, but that's all in terms of it being related to that game.

Most of the pine trees in that map were from the WoW objects pack that you can find on the FH forums. The white pine trees were from a Winter Objects pack that I found on Deviant Art, and the Sakura trees that you see in the picture above were re-textured Acacia trees that I did myself, and unfortunately I don't have a link for those. You can find the rest of them however just by searching here around DA or on the FH forums.

Hey, can I ask a question? How do I export more than one map to make a map pack? I'm not sure how I'm supposed to organize the folders, I guess. I'm probably not phrasing this right, but I'll try to get my point across like so:
Should each individual folder for each exported map be under one folder for the download, or should the files from each individual folder be under one folder? I hope you can understand my weird phrasing... :0

I think I understand what you're trying to say more or less.
In order to export a Map Pack, you first need to make sure all of your maps are linked up with portals, then export each map individually. Once they've all be exported, you need to put all of the FILES (map, objects, sound, etc.) and put them into a single folder. You can break up the files and put them into sub-folders depending on where they need to go or just lump them all together depending on how much help you want to give the people who will be downloading your map. It doesn't hurt to throw in a text document that says you created it and the rules you have for it/how to install either.
Once you've gotten your main folder organized, make sure to correctly name it (eg. NameOfYourMap_YourUsername) and then ZIP the folder up so it won't take so long to download/upload.
When it's ready, you can upload it to the internet, DA works if it's not too big (compressing helps with that) and there are other sites too that are good. I'd recommend dropbox.

When you export these maps, you will find them in your exports folder. All of them should be there (except for your music and weather files) and it's your job to create a new folder, name it, and then move /all/ of the map files into it. Then zip it, and upload it.
So .fhm, .fho, .fhs, .mp3 etc.

:S I can't remember either of those, but I know you probably can find it if you look into one of the FH art groups, like FH University or something. Just go into the Mods folder and search for the 'Sci-fi Moon Mod' I'm pretty sure that's what it was called.

The colour is part of the map, but depending on what moon mod you have, that's the shape it will take for you!

To a certain extent. You may use this to role play with a pack or group, but that doesn't make the map exclusively yours. This map, as it is with the rest of my public maps, must be shared with everyone, and no one has the right to kick another group or player out of the map just because they aren't involved with one certain rp.

I love this map so much, but the textures are bugging me. x.x
First, the rocks were in ice texture, now they are in some sort of very dark grass. I don't know how this happened, but I cannot find the texture that now is that 'dark grass'. I've searched my whole FeralHeart folder, but still no signs for that.
Can you just tell me the name of the texture that you are using for those 'ice rocks'? I just need the name and I will fix everything!

It would probably be something like IceTex or Snow3, I don't have my computer working at the moment so regretfully I can't check it for you

I got the Sci-fi moon mod to make the moon look different, and I edited the sky myself in the tools section. Technically speaking if you have this map you already should have that sky in your folder.

If all the files are where they're supposed to be but Frostfall is still not working I can only assume that the map file for Frostfall might be corrupted, which is an easy fix. Just re-download and replace it. If that still doesn't fix the problem I can't say for sure what's going on though, but hopefully that will help.

The pic is a screenshot of the map so yes, the only thing that will be different for you is the moon, because I have the sci-fi moon mod in my game. And the download is secure, you don't have to worry about that. Dropbox is very safe!
