This download includes TWO maps, the first of which being the Melandru Mountains and the second of which is a small cavern map called Frostfall. This is probably my first map that included copious amounts of snow and it was a lot of fun to work on! The main map is fairly large and there is tons to explore, so have fun

Hi question, how can you help me, I downloaded the map, tried to unzip it and it tells me it is invalid T^T

How are you trying to unzip it? You should just be able to open it by double-clicking the folder after you drag it onto your desktop or into another folder. It might be that the computer you are using that is causing the problems, if it's too old or runs on something other than windows.

I fixed it. Or it fixed itself x.x had to download it again and bam, worked perfectly. It was giving me a hard time. ^_^ thank you! and my comp is up to date, just likes to fight with me.

I just use the waterfall texture that automatically comes with the game, low poly is good if you have a lot of waterfalls in your map and don't want to have a lot of lag, but the normal one does look a little sleeker. I'm not sure where you could download it unfortunately, but you could search around google or the fh forums for the original waterfall mesh/texture and hopefully something will turn up!
It's possible it might come with the 'naturalistic' mod but i'm not sure >3>

The music that I used in both maps was from the game Skyrim:The Elder Scrolls. I love the OST from that game and felt that it fit it perfectly!
The tracks that were used in the map pack were: Far Horizons (Main Map) and Frostfall (Waterfall Map). I recommend you go listen to the rest of the tracks on Youtube if you enjoyed the songs played in the map!

Those dang map claimers. This is very much a public map, and no one has the right to say otherwise. I would suggest you report any map claimers who are giving you trouble to the mods, or perhaps (for a more effective approach) just block the lot of them. For future reference, any map made by me will always be public, I believed very much in sharing my work with the entire Feral Heart community, and not just a select few.

Do you mean you couldn't find any tutorials on the main site, or the tutorials you did find just didn't help you?
You might try looking up how to properly download and install FH maps on Youtube (like this one [link] ) or on other places around the internet if finding instructions is proving difficult for you.

I enter the map and it looks nice, but nothing like this picture. It has yellow grass all over it and no colors.....

It sounds like you are missing the mask for this map, and i'm not quite sure how that could be fixed! The texture pack I used for the ground was from 'Naturalistic', it could be that you do not have that in your textures and that's why it's turning up with just the regular acacia grass. You might try looking for that texture pack or try re-downloading the files and replacing your old files with new ones. No guarantee that it will work but it's worth a shot if you're really adamant about fixing it.

I downloaded it, however it still uses the african grass. I browsed through its contents and couldn't find the beautiful green and blue grass. All it uses is the default. I'm not sure how to rewrite a feral heart map file, could you instruct me or something? I'm hoping it can be rewritten to use a different texture.

If you're having trouble with the map, I would suggest that you go and check out the installation tutorials for custom maps on the FH forums, where you can check to make sure you haven't missed any steps.

A User on FH named "smelfus" (username) claimed this map as theres -.- i was RPing with friends in it he was like GET OUT THIS IS MY MAP we said it wasnt he was like ITS MINE MY FRIEND GAVE IT ME o.o

I'm sorry to hear about that :/ This person was clearly either misinformed or lying about the possesion, as my maps are /always/ open to the public. I would suggest you either block this user if they continue to cause trouble, or screenshot their behaviour and report them to the FH staff.
