I'm surprised by those results, I wouldn't think the Cimmerian would have a chance. As much as I like Conan, raw muscle can't overcome this- a whole boat went through Cthulhu's head and he started reforming.
Still, a cool drawing nonetheless!

The coolest thing about this is that Howard and Lovecraft were friends and frequent correspondents. Howard wrote quite a few horror stories in a very similar weird fiction vein, including some that featured Conan or Conan-like characters facing off against unspeakable elder horrors.

Look, Cthulhu's cool and all...but this is Conan we are talking about. Anyone else, The Big C will rape his/her mind and rip his/her sanity to shreds without even trying (I mean, it does this in it's sleep).

I'm not enough of a pessimist to think Cthulhu would win against Conan the freaking Barbarian. The guy is like the Chuck Norris of my childhood.
I'm also not enough of an optimist to think that Conan could save the world from being eventually swallowed by the Old Ones.
More of a short term, long term thing. The world is saved... again... for a little while. We take what we can get.

It's not weird, Lovecraft describes him as indescribable several times... C;
Cthulhu is cousin to The Great Old Ones, Lord of the corpse-city of R'lyeh, who lies dead and dreaming beneath the ocean.
