You have NO Idea how happy I am the fillers are over, but you know... I never watched them, and I just recently discovered, in a few of them the animation is good... I am torn as to whether I should go through the torture of watching them bastardise Naruto all for the sake of a few well animated/cute bits, or pretend the whole thing never happened

well the thing with the fillers is
its all exciting before they start
then when they do
youll find funny episodes
sad episodes
and pointless ones
mainly pointless
but i found it really worth watching just for those few rememberable ones
like on eof the best ones
where choji goes thin
neji gets beat
and kiba and akamaru almost die
they all end up fine
(hope im not spoiling anything)
but its just amazing the animation and story line
like neji looks so hurt and hes crying and it makes you want to cry
and its even more upsetting with choji believe it or not
and with shikamaru because he cries for the first time
there are some amazing episodes in the fillers
and tbh
im actually looking forward to watching them all again
because you learn SO much about each character

Yah you learn about the character, the only problem is, they are not in line with the real story, and not endorsed by the writer, so they are not what you would call really getting to know the character... I truely hate it when they deviate from a characters personallity, which they did alot with Naruto, they made him Incredibly stupid in some of the episodes, and I think it was clear near the end, that he was far from stupid, just... Hyper

well yeah thats true
but if you think about it
it gives you something you call "judging a book by its cover"
some characters in naruto
may always be stressed
annoying
loud
or quite
but underneath they all feel differently
like naruto is always shown as a loud "knucklehead ninja"
but underneath hes been alone for ages
and now that hes found friends
hell do anything to save them
and thats how i feel about all my friends
id rather save them than myself any day
its just the way you can look at the filler episodes
but some of the fillers are actually a must-watch to understand some things in shippuden

XDDDDD Well I wil take your word on it, though I doubt I will ever watch them all *it pains me, I might give them a go, and in fairness, Shippuden, as far as I have seen, hasn't deviated from the manga... am I wrong? if so.. please please please tell me what I am missing?

well shippuden is amazing
and some of the characters have turned from annoying to loveable
like sakura-shes not useless any more
she even beats sasori (as im sure you've read)
and well.....everyone's just so cool!
naruto is ten times more amazing
and still funny
gaara is much nicer
along with kankuro
and kakashi has developed a new sharingan !

and well....everythings just so......amazing
the animation is a THOUSAND times better
and the music can make you REALLY happy
or cry
its amazing honestly

well in the fillers
youd miss things like the fight against kimimoro
the guy who can pull bones out of his body
hes amazing
and things like
the big fight for neji choji kiba akamaru shikamaru and naruto (of course lol 
and things like
finding tsunade
naruto learning new moves
rock lee getting better
gaara kankuro and temari coming back to help lee shikamaru and kiba
its just
amazing
yeah it might drone on for a few episodes
like
you feel relieved once its over
but its totally worth watching
and im REALLY looking forward to watching them again

LMAO!!! well I did see the hina water fall episode, (and Naruto being stupid and not recognising her) (why was she naked?) The shino one I would like to see yeah, but since its not in the manga. I dont like the fact that they change a character just to appease the fans and hope to get more ratings... the fillers peeved me
