A very quick thing I did, trying to capture some elements in golem form. Also trying a slightly softer style and more painty, need to work on my subtly with color, few steps towards getting there. Thanks to Llama for reminding me how fun elemental concepts are =0Related content

Shit you got me beat to the idea but our designs are still different. I just don't have any actually posted up yet. These ar incredible though. Must have taken agaes to do.

Christ I need to update this. Haven't logged on in forever. Thank you for the comment, I really do like the idea, probably not very original, but it does let you showcase some interesting takes on the concept of elements. Can't wait to see your attempt. (Pardon if it's already up, I just got back to DA, if it is I will take a look at it shortly)

It's the elemental thing!
I like the style you did this composition in. It consists of very jagged angles and sharp lines, lending a sort of abstract quality to the piece.
That said, perhaps the sharp-edged style does not convey the feel of water quite so well as the others. I can see that the background in water's corner is smoother, but the figure still seems rough. Perhaps smoother, rounder, longer lines are called for to better display water.
These sharp, jagged qualities are positive boons, however, to more violent elements like fire, which I think you pulled off very nicely.
Excellent color choice for each element, respectively. Wind is an especially difficult thing to choose a color for, and you managed it in a very interesting manner.
