>>UPDATE<<Redone printable templates coming soon-ish.
>>UPDATE 2<<
Heh...maybe not so soon. Getting these templates onto the computer is going to be harder than I thought...
>>UPDATE 3<<
Got his backpack templates finished.
>>UPDATE 4<<
Wow, I'm really sorry for anyone who may have been waiting for me to finish the new templates (is there anyone?). My Uni workload has gotten REALLY heavy pretty much since I said I was going to make them. They are still coming (if I can find the time). Hopefully by the end of this week?...
Heh,
A number of people have asked me for the templates for my grunt plushie. Well...here they are.
These are the templates that I used for the plushie, no more, no less (that's kind of a lie, I actually misplaced the head and body templates). Apart from those, all pieces were made on the spot with some guesswork (and some trial and error).
I am sorry for the roughness of the templates, but that is just how I made them. Note the stray threads and sellotape. Grunty actually originated from a 3D paper grunt, whose pieces ended up as the templates.
I hope this is at least partially helpful for the few that wanted to try there own.
>>NOTES<<
- I've tried to provide a scale in the top right-hand corner. The 1 & 2 are measurements in inches.
- The nose breather things are made from truncated cone-shape templates.
- These templates are only a very rough guide. When cutting out the materials I gave A LOT of leeway so that I could turn the pieces inside out to give the appropriate size. Used as they are, he will turn out very small.
- Hopefully the body shape seems obvious. They are pretty much two large triangles.
- I actually don't like the head of my grunt very much as it is not very spherical. I'm sure a good sphere template is somewhere on the internet.
- The feet need custom made circles to close of the bottom of the legs.
If you guys have any questions, feel free to e-mail me at meercat_5@hotmail.com. Good luck!

If you want usable versions of the templates, they are sitting on my profile. I made printable versions of them quite a while ago - or are you looking for something else?

A few people have asked me for templates that can be printed and used, so I'll try and make a new set by this Monday (if all goes to plan). However, he may not turn out EXACTLY as I have made him since I pretty much have to work off my model (as I said, these templates are the ones I personally used) to generate these new templates.
Thanks.
