Yeah. They're not that bad of a unit. I guess it's rare players feel they need to build them because of their opponent's unit composition. Personally, I'm not experienced enough to know when I'd ever _need_ them.

There is no way something as large as an ultralisk could burrow, there for that big ultra-shaped lump over there is actually just a large ro- OMGWTFULTRAFROMNOWHERBBLLLLLAAARRRR*beeeeeeeep* "We're sorry, but the line has just been mutilated horribly by zerg, please do not try again, unless you enjoy the sound of terrans being torn apart while still alive, you sick****. Good thing for the Zerg that something as big as an ultralisk can attempt to bury itself and nobody notices it until some really powerful scanner is used so they can see the whole thing on a screen in hi-res. It looks like the others burrowed next to it would be zerglings but they could be hydralisks.

I know!!!!! XDDDDDDD i just want that Ultra as a pet. Except it could be a TEENSY bit smaller.
But think about it, if Ultras could burrow... *shudder* then the zerg players will win BIG time in almost every match.

In Starcraft 2, they can burrow! 
The thing is, by the time any Zerg player makes one (if at all) the opponent is likely to have plenty of detection abilities on the field, (Observers, Ravens/scans, Overseers,) so using a burrowed Ultralisk to one's advantage would be very situational, and probably not part of any standard strategy as far as I know. So it's not that big of an advantage, imo : )
But the concept does seem pretty ridiculous and powerful at face value ^^

Well now they can't burrow... Guess blizz thought it was too overpowering cuz trust me, I know some friends in Korea who can just whoop a guys ass before he even has a single Battlecruiser out... with Ultras and a bunch of other humiliating zerg units.... like Drones! or just zerglings.

Wow, really? I had no idea people actually used them, of course, leave it to Koreans to discover all sorts of strategies for each race, given enough time. I'll have to look for videos of such games when I have the time.

Well ultras are used for mop-up and to attack structures; at least for me whenever I play zerg, which isn't much.
