Sometimes I question if other people think Fluffii's design is sparkledog-like. She kinda does look a little overdone due to her splats, but I don't really know how to change her, I'm happy with her anyway. She my bab.

kay, main reason why I like this, because it's not condemning everyone who likes this genre completely and utterly, like a lot of other stamps I've seen. I mean people have a right to like what they want and to dislike what they wish as well. I personally am not into sparkle dogs, I think there are a bit too many in the canine-themed groups I'm in, and I absolutely hate the super-overdone ones...honest personal opinion, sorry...some people just don't have an eye for design or could really use a color theory class.
but I think if it's something that someone personally enjoys as a hobby and they have fun with it, then that's fine, (honestly some of the more moderate designs I've seen kind of give me Lisa Frank-nostalgia from when I was a kid ^^ ) I can see how it could be a lot of cartoony-fun, like when we would color things the wrong way as kids, just for the heck of it. But when it's taken too seriously or people wig at the slightest hint of negative criticism, it only serves to paint them, as an artist, in a very immature light.

Sparkleanimals are amazing when they're not taken seriously. I think the original sparkledogs were for serious, but now I love the characters who are overly godmodded and have 1500 lbs of hair and accessories because no one takes them seriously anymore. Plus, they're just fun to draw.

I like sparkiledogs. But I don't flip out when someone flames me about it. Most of the time, I don't reply to hate comments unless they've went overboard. I admitt tha they look kinda odd, but I still enjoy them. But I like natural colors better on an animal.
