Doctor Whooves was a small time clock maker and tinkerer from Gondor who caught Queen Theoderp's eye when he invented the "Muffin maker 3000"

Due to laws regulating that Rohan royalty be Pegasi ponies, and since he married into the royal family, he was not allowed to take the throne. Instead he was given the job of commander of the royal guard and military adviser.

The birth of Amethyst star was a shock to the entire realm. The confusion over where the Unicorn genetics had come from baffled everyone. The confusion was doubled when Dinky Hooves was born. The debate spread all the way from Foal-Amerath to the Murky wood forest.

Eventually the debate was forgotten as the tides of discord started rearing their ugly head.
