I was bored, so I made these.They only use the colours from the original 8-bit sprites, no extra ones. (The Honey Woman colours are from my sprite.)
UPDATE: Tweaked Honey Woman a bit, made her a bit taller, and changed the shape of the face a bit.
Didn't change the waist though, it's actually thicker than in the original artwork!
(DeviantART really needs to extend the amount of characters you can put in the titles of submissions.)
UPDATE2: Changed 3 pixels on Splash Woman.

Honey Woman's waist is a little small and her antennae look kind of stiff, but otherwise they look good. They are very reminiscent of their original sprites; mind sharing your methods?

Step 1: Resize original sprites
Step 2: Look at the original artwork for a while
Step 3: Round out the square parts and thin out the lines
Step 4: Add loads of details.
I will try to edit Honey Woman a bit to fix any weirdness with the sprite.
