yes since he was considered twice in brawl and SSB4 by Sakurai and he knows about his demand and popularityΒ and now since square-enix are now a part of smash i think its safe to say he has huge chance.

There's been a lot of speculation that there will be something to do with Smash for the Switch, most likely a port of Sm4sh with some new characters. So you might not actually have to wait that long
