So I started watching Fullmetal Alchemist on Netflix a few weeks ago and I'm really enjoying it so I had to draw Alphonse with kittens because they're adorable (I absolutely loved the episode with the little kitten

I spent ages messing around with different gradients to get the perfect sky colour, I eventually toned down Al's shading and I'm really glad I went with a softer approach to colours because this is definitely my favorite work to date.

I'm really proud of that background - I've been working on improving and becoming more comfortable with working on backgrounds and all of that practice and trying new stuff came all together on this one

I'm terribly OCD with my lineart and colouring xD I probably spend way too long adjusting the lines alone hehe.
I've finished '03 and am currently watching Brotherhood so I'm definitely looking forward to working with more characters from the anime
