Hi there guys! There goes a commission done for based on the character from Avatar The last Airbender: Fire Lord Ozai (you know, "father of the year" XD). I uploaded the sketch time ago. Hope you like it

It's a great piece of art, but there's something wrong with the face in the colored version (the sketch was fine). There's just something about his eyes and cheek features that make him look like a different character.

The art in the original series wasn't terribly consistent where it came to Ozai either.
In his first appearnces, his face is smoother and younger than later on, when he sets off to destroy the Earth Kingdom.

I feel that this painting has a good mixture of both and it certainly get the most important characteristics spot on: the prominent cheekbones, the slightly slanted eyes, the wide mouth, the hairline, the angled eyebrows, the square jaw....

I love it. It's absolutely awesome.
The pose conveys strenght and agility both and the expression says "You WILL regret having tried to mess with me". ^_~
Also, love the folds of the clothing. The way they fall, emphasizing the pose and movement...it just makes the pic really come alive.

It is amazing, as to be expected from your caliber of artist. (sorry) But, his right hand bugs me a lot. I mean A LOT. I understand the concept of dimensions and foreground effects. It just seems slightly too long to me. Other than that, the composition, the accuracy of the pose, and each detail is superb!

I'm actually re-watching the entire Avatar series before I watch Korra. In book 3 already, and this is absolutely amazing.

You know what is strange? I spotted two of your artwork at the popular 24hrs home page at different dates and the artwork were related to a animation I just finished watching the day before. "Shenglong" after I finished watching Dragon Ball (original series, you even were talking about it in the description) and "Avatar - Ozai" just after I finished watching season 3 yesterday.
