Firebrand come from the game ghost n' goblins by Capcom as a very annoying enemy, but also this character have his own games, they are Gargoyles quest for game boy, gargoyles quest 2 for NES and Demon's crest for SNES

handle him a dark candle and firebrand can literally set the whole demon world (or any other dimension he's visiting) on fire (firebrand's fire is powerful enough to harm magical demon dragons)

While I respect Dormammu both as a character and a villain, I am rooting for Firebrand/Red Arremer (even though I have a ''love to hate'' relationship with him). Dude knows how to piss off players in his original franchise (Ghouls N' Ghosts/Ghosts N' Goblins). Also he looks like an actual demon/devil, while Dormammu is basically an evil Ghost Rider (minus the chains and bicycle).

I don't really know who Dormammu is supposed to be, but I definitely know who Firebrand is because he's the star of the "Gargoyle's Quest" series as well as one of the most annoying enemies from the "Ghosts 'N Goblins" series.
