I absolutely get putting Felicia in your top three, and Mai is the clear choice if you want to include SNK, but going with Chun-Li instead of Cammy for the Street Fighter rep is complete madness.

You say it's a hyper sexualized waifu series like it's a bad thing. Sure, I like it for being a cartoony over the top monster horror mashup as well, but the fact that it has the single hottest cast of ladies in any fighter is absolutely a point in Darkstalkers' favor as well in my book.
Beyond that, I take issue with the ladies of Darkstalkers being the failing point of the series in general because I have never once known anyone to dislike Darkstalkers for being a waifu wank fest. If anything, that'd be a step in the right direction, since having that, or any problem with it would at least mean people are aware that it exists at all. In my experience, people are either at least somewhat positive about the series, or far more likely, simply have no idea it was ever a thing at all. I've talked to multiple people who actually assumed that the Darkstalkers in crossovers were OCs made for them. (You know, like Ruby Heart in MvC2.) Even when Darkstalkers was reasonably current in arcades (and arcades still existed,) I could talk to friends about Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat, but Darkstalkers was just a "wait, what?" response. So as I see it, the series never has had a bad reputation. Because for some reason it simply never had any reputation at all. Which I never understood at all since it was absolutely the coolest fighter series ever. Who even wants to play a boring normal human martial artist when you could be a zombie or werewolf or vampire or planet eating god? Apparently a lot of people.

Honestly, I know the commissioner paid for the image to look this way, but it doesn't look right with a big bald guy with an NES zapper standing in the center of an arcade with these fighting game characters around him.
As it is, it looks a bit egotistical to see some bald dude with a zapper stand in an arcade with girls around him.
Nothing about this makes me think he's handsome or good at games.
There are so many things that could make this better.
-The guy could have been drawn with a more creative outfit, perhaps with a jacket to add more colors to his character model.
-Every machine could say"You Win!" to show he's already played and beaten every machine.
-He could have his foot on one of the arcade controls to show dominance over the game.
-He could be leaning on an arcade cabinet to show off his cool relaxed demeanor.
You know what I mean?
