I can assure you, the concept behind Kain Tremere was developed well over 7 years ago. This is merely it being used in Bleach. I originated the character in a Star Wars universe, which blows the Bleach version, and any other version I've made, out of the water.

His name is Kain Tremere, and his look greatly shows his sadistic and manipulative nature. He is a scientist who does not fear consequence and believes in no boundaries. His Zanpakutou, Tartarus, is an interesting one. The inner world of Tartarus is the Greek Tartarus itself. There is no physical spirit, as the spirit and inner world are one in the same. The glow on Tartarus is residual remnants of Souls he's reaped in the past. I might add that he has the interesting ability to literally consume other Souls, akin to Raziel from Soul Reaver. Through his experiments, he has essentially created the spiraling Abyss within his very body, where consumed souls are forever damned to torture within Tartarus.
He has reached a new form of science that combines Kidou in to his experiments to complete bypass boundary and achieve new outcomes. One outcome was the aforementioned Abyss within his body. Interesting enough, he has used this very thing to consume Hollow as well to simply test the outcome... It has resulted in interesting side-effects. Such as High-Speed Regeneration.

I like the design and detail of the chains. And the weapon's name, Tartarus, is a bit dark and foreboding, which matches my take on the character's personality. I don't know why, but evil/grim Captains seem to always draw themselves to the 12th Division.

Just like how 11th gets a psycho of some sort. In every Bleach RP I've played, the 11th Division Kenpachi is always out of his or her mind.
