Description
This is my first deviant please be gentle.
I'm a big fan of cartoons, old and new and decided to do my simple tribute to some of my recent favorites.
Note: I do NOT own any of these characters. They are copyrighted under their respective creators who work at Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Disney Channel respectively.
This is but a simple group picture with the primary protagonists of the following cartoon programs(animetized):
- Danny Phantom (Nickelodeon)
- Avatar: The Last Airbender (Nickelodeon)
- American Dragon: Jake Long (Disney Channel)
- My Life as a Teenage Robot (Nickelodeon)
- The Powerpuff Girls (Cartoon Network)
- Robotboy (Cartoon Network)
- Codename: Kids Next Door (Cartoon Network)
- The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy (Cartoon Network)
- The Life and Times of Juniper Lee (Cartoon Network)
- Kim Possible (Disney Channel)
- Ben 10 (Cartoon Network)
- Dexter's Lab (Cartoon Network)
I hope you like it, cuz this was one of the hardest projects for me to finish with the little time that I have. Please comment.

I know many of you guys feel nostalgic towards these shows, but I was born in 92, so I was enjoying many of these (and a few that came after) when I was in middle school and high school. When most people stopped watching cartoons at a certain age, I never did, and thus never really understood the mindset that cartoons from a certain era were superior to newer ones. And then I kept watching them in college as an adult, and now, nearly in my mid-twenties (or maybe already there, I'm not sure how that works exactly), I love modern cartoon network as well as some shows on other channels (CN really has the best, most consistent lineup of good stuff out there at the moment, even if they hardly ever play most of them). My point is, people from my generation would be quick to dismiss the shows you guys grew up watching and I was around for (Danny Phantom, Avatar, Flapjack, Kids Next Door) even though they have no real reason to, so try not to do the same to this new generation. If I have any advice for you, should you care enough to listen, it's to never have a knee-jerk reaction to new things and change. Stay open minded, judge things critically and just give them a chance.

I'm pretty sure most of them would be first gen. Aang, Robotboy, Juniper, Jake, and Ben would be second gen. Nevertheless, good art.

I think they mean for TV cartoons? While it's true animation itself traces its roots back to the early 1900s if not earlier, pretty sure TV animation started somewhere in the mid 20th century.

Nice. Looks sort of like Fusion Fall, but with non-CN characters.

These shows were first aired when I was 1-6 years old and I still love and remember them (I also stopped watching the new shows they give today O_O)
