Description
YAY! It's done! Now I can finally do my homework! This is a faux cover for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows which comes out in July (yes, I'll be standing in line). I know that my devs are a little more colorful than some people like but I'm a color junkie, I like 'em big and bright and sassy and this dev is no exception. You'll notice that the sword of Godric Gryffindor is absent from this photo. You'll also notice that I have a profound hatred for drawing/coloring swords. Profound. Hatred.Related content

Hermione looks a little afeared. The colour is nice, the wands are sparkly, the harry is central. woo

Nice work, man. Colors is a fine thing. i tend to use a lot of saturated colors as well in my art--so you're not the only one.
I do have a weirdness feeling with how Harry is holding his wand. It just looks...a bit off...or something.
*don't hate me*
And i already saved a spot at my local bookstore when the book comes out! *squeal*
The LAST BOOK IS COMING!!!!!

I like it The colour is great too
And I like how Harry looks more mature, more like I think he should
Who needs swords wen you have magic? Yeah..I love the Harry Potter series...I'll be standing in line too Though...I have my reservations...I don't think It'll be as good as 1,3 and 4...what with what came from the 6th book...Then again, the swan song might prove great
But I digress... great job dude
p.s. it's great to be back

Haha, I can't wait to go to the party wherever I'll be buying my copy. There are always those weird wannabe cosplay con's for Harry Potter books. I love dressing up! I can't wait to read it also... It sounds, by the name of the title, to be a bit interesting. ^__^ Wonderful art, and I love the colours - bright colours are just as good as dark ones!

YAY! I'm glad you like this. Yeah, it's funny to see 30-year-olds dressing the part. It's funny because it's sad and glorious at once. I wonder if we'll ever get the thrill of waiting like this in line for a book to come out. I hope so. I hope so.

It's sooo much fun. I remember standing in line, dressed as my RP character for Harry Potter when the 6th book came out. I didn't get a copy, not until a few weeks after that, but it was a lot of fun running around in my trench and Gryffindor outfit, waving a fake wand around. It was funny because of the old people dressed as the professors. This one man dressed as Snape - it was amazing. He looked exactly like him. ^____^

Exactly like Alan Rickman or exactly like you imagine Snape from the book?

Alan. It was insane. Utterly weird. He had the accent and the soulless voice down.
