Description
Finally got someone to do this: a Nova Class Starship's Computer Core, or MMC. As you can see, the twin cores (there are two of them, each backing up the other) are massive, two-decks tall, just like on a Defiant Class. There are entrances to the cavernous chamber on Decks 3 and 4, in the primary hull. Both cores receive direct EPS power from Main Engineering. The chamber that houses the cores is kept at a chilly -1.11111 degrees Celsius, and both are surrounded by a low-level warp field, so that calculations can be made at warp speeds (FTL.) Besides the entrances, there is a gangway ladder along the prow bulkhead, connecting the two levels, similar to Main Engineering. You can see the Andorian officer in charge of the computer core of U.S.S. Twilight NCC - 74413, climbing the gangway.
