I thought of my own "Gryphon" based Pokemon before but this is just WOW! I love it.Β Griflint is cute and its final evolution is just Awesome!Β If it becomes an actual Pokemon, I'd catch a bunch of them!

The line's coloration is a bit too red/warm colored for my tastes, I did like how the black of the previous version helped add a little variety and block the shapes out. With that said, all of the other changes, like proportions, patterns, etc are much much better!

I liked the black too but with my water final having it as a main color i felt like i needed more variety so i went with the darker red
i might make it darker still and less vibrantΒ

I dont think white would work well for the concept since it absorbs heat from the sun with its dark feathers

Yeah that's the thing, I was gonna suggest even adding some white to the wings or something, but the water final uses both -_-. I do think less vibrancy on the dark red would help big time though
