The Manhattan Downtown actually looks a bit less interesting now that the Twin towers are gone. I always wanted to see them. But never had the chance. I will miss them but they will remain in a lasting image since King Kong (remake II) climbed it. I can't wait until they rebuilt the lot. But hearing about the cuts, I hope SOM still gets a chance to build Freedom Tower the way it was designed.Taken without tripod. Handheld, with help of guardrail.

I recommend fall or spring, beautiful colorful trees during that time. of course its all preference. if you like hot weather or cold weather, NY's got both of the extremes. If like to see ny with Snow and blazing city lights, go in the winter!
