A manipulation of a photo that I took myself on my travels, recreated here in a mock painting style.

This is one of my favorite subjects to photograph in my local area, Pratt's Castle. Located along the Fox river in Elgin Illinois. Built by medieval history buff Harold S. Pratt in 1937. It was modeled on a castle he saw along the Rhine River while serving in World War I, and served as a private museum for Pratt's personal collection of medieval artifacts. The tower is 50 foot tall and is surrounded by a mini-moat and a working draw bridge.
