UPDATE: A FEW ARTIST'S PROOFS LEFT
From the archives, I have four Artist's Proofs of my Alien silk screen print left and available for sale. This is an extremely limited and rare Artist's Proof edition. Only 25 Artist's Proofs were created before the full print run of 250. Each Artist's Proof is individually signed by me and numbered. (#/25AP)
I currently have AP numbers 4, 5, 6, and 8. You're welcome to choose your number, provided it's still available. (I'll update this page as they go. Update: Number 9 is gone.)
These prints were made in conjunction with Acme Archives and Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation and printed by Valhalla Studios.
The original Alien is one of my all time favorite films, so I jumped at the opportunity to create an officially licensed piece based on it. It was also my first foray into the world of professional silk screen printing. It was a fun challenge figuring out the process, and the crews at Acme Archives and Valhalla Studios did a fantastic job with the final output. The colors are rich and smooth and it's printed on a beautifully thick, high quality paper.
Measures 12 x 24 inches
Signed, numbered, and comes with Certificate of Authenticity.
$175.00 USD with free tube shipping within the continental US. If you prefer flat shipping, or you're ordering from Alaska, Hawaii, or anywhere else outside the continental US, contact me for a shipping quote.

The sequel is a bit too gung-ho action for me, but I love the suspense and moodiness of the original.

I saw Aliens with My Cousins one of whom was in the 3rD Armored Division in West Germany
When He first Saw it. He said the Gung Ho aspect was supposed to be an Allegory for the
U S Army's over confidence in it's initial entry into Viet Nam and it's subsequent Tragedies.

Haha, I'm sure that exists on some website somewhere, but I don't want to know about it. You made me double check my spelling though!

I do have a soft spot for Resurrection, even though everybody rags on it. It's just the right amount of sci-fi bonkers for me, like Alien and The Fifth Element had a hybrid baby. (Both by French directors too.)
And thanks!

Absolutely. ^^
I mean, I can see their points of view too, but still, I like it, like you. ^^
You're welcome!

Originally they were ALL cats.....
In space no one can hear you purr.
Just kidding. That's too close to furry art for my taste.

Are you the same artist that designed that New poster for the original Dracula movie?

Nope, but maybe you're thinking of Martin Ansin's Dracula poster.

Ken Taylor is another favorite of mine. I do have that one hanging on my wall, so some subconscious inspiration is certainly possible!

Thanks very much. I've worked on well known properties in the past, but always as part of a studio where you don't necessarily get individual credit. I'm pretty sure this is the first one where it's all me, so it's a nice feeling.
