UPDATE: A FEW ARTIST'S PROOFS LEFT
From the archives, I have four Artist's Proofs of my Alien silk screen print left and available for sale. This is an extremely limited and rare Artist's Proof edition. Only 25 Artist's Proofs were created before the full print run of 250. Each Artist's Proof is individually signed by me and numbered. (#/25AP)
I currently have AP numbers 4, 5, 6, and 8. You're welcome to choose your number, provided it's still available. (I'll update this page as they go. Update: Number 9 is gone.)
These prints were made in conjunction with Acme Archives and Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation and printed by Valhalla Studios.
The original Alien is one of my all time favorite films, so I jumped at the opportunity to create an officially licensed piece based on it. It was also my first foray into the world of professional silk screen printing. It was a fun challenge figuring out the process, and the crews at Acme Archives and Valhalla Studios did a fantastic job with the final output. The colors are rich and smooth and it's printed on a beautifully thick, high quality paper.
Measures 12 x 24 inches
Signed, numbered, and comes with Certificate of Authenticity.

This is really great! I love the limited color pallet and the sharp contrast that the yellow adds. Does the Egyptian design at the bottom represent anything? I haven't seen any of the movies in a long time, but I don't remember any themes/visual motifs related to that.

Thanks very much! The limited color palette was a requirement of the screen print process, where essentially, the more colors you add, the more time it takes to produce, and the higher the cost. So in this case, I had six colors to work with.
As for the wing and sun disc design, that's the Weyland Yutani logo from the movie that appears as patches and insignias on the crew uniforms and space suits.

Kudo's on the wonderful fan-made poster (Almost resembles the work of Drew Struzan to some extent).
Do you have to plans to make poster's like this for other films? Would love to see you do more of that.
