One Night, Mei and her friends were having a sleepover at Tyler's house. However, this one wouldn't be so fun.

Tyler: okay, what movie do you guys think we should watch?

Miriam: I don't know, I still feel kinda tired after that game we played.

Abby: why don't we watch The Pagemaster?

Priya: Abby, we watched that 2 weeks ago.

Abby: dang it!

Megan: No need to get worked up, Abby, I think Mei should pick since it's her turn to pick now.

Mei: I think I found a good one.

Tyler: what was your pick?

Mei: I found Ice Age, I haven't seen it before.

Tyler: sounds good.

Miriam: Mei, that was a good choice, at least it's not Titanic.

Mei: yeah, I'm not ready to cry at another movie tonight, especially around my friends and the girl I love.

Miriam: Aww, thank you, Mei.

Mei: Anytime, Mir.

Tyler puts the disc in the DVD player, things went great until Tyler pressed the play button on the menu. The movie began with a blue boarder that read "Digitally mastered for optimal video and audio performance", and then a logo came up that read "THX Digitally Mastered". The worst part was the sound, it was a very loud low tone sound! Mei and her friends were absolutely horrified by what they heard, Abby hid behind Tyler's back in fear! Finally it was over, Tyler paused the movie so they could process what they just witnessed.

Priya: wut????.......

Megan: What the heck was that?!

Abby: whatever it is, I DON'T LIKE IT!!😣😣

Tyler: Now I wish I pressed the mute button.

Miriam: Mei, are you okay?

Mei: I'm fine, Mir Mir, I just can't get over whatever I just witnessed.

Miriam: I know right?

Tyler: Don't worry, everyone, it's gone now, let's just lay down and watch our movie.

Everyone: Okay

After that unfortunate little start to a movie night, Mei and her friends were finally able to rest easy. But couldn't forget about that scary logo that played before.

Now, I just gotta say that I was absolutely terrified by the THX logo when I was younger, I refused to watch Ice Age alone as it was one of the movies that used it. But now after l seen a video about it, I can't help but appreciate it more than I used to.
