i couldn't make them match exactly, mainly because i wanted the icons of the ipod click wheel... so i wasn't shure if it's that good if the circles don't match.

This is a very great idea. The thought of old and new/modern comes out very well and I like how you've chosen the picture detail and put the two photographs together But maybe you could brush the scratches from the ipod away.
