I love the composition of this. I'm curious though, why didn't you use a lower aperture?

Thank you very much. My answer is simple, I have played around with the aperture from 5.6 to 8, and just wanted to see the outcome.. The difference wasn't significant but it seems that the latter was a bit more sharper. Notice I used a D70 then and was still experimenting, now I am on a D300s and things are a bit better now. I also like to use higher apertures to enhance the quality and focus of the objects further away, if the front image is far enough to be in focus with a higher aperture. I hope it make sense.

I always wanted to see the Sphynx, But if Radical Islam takes over in Egypt, they will destroy it all.Just like the Budda statues in Afganistan.
I hope that does'nt happen.

Thanks for you comment. Yes, it is a very interesting place and the smell and feeling when you go into the pyramids are just awesome. I believe that most to almost all Egyptians are very proud of their heritage and history. They are very proud and sensitive about the Pyramids, so I believe that it will not be destroyed, it would be a historical disaster. You must visit it when you can.
