Description
Its a project I'm doing in my Digital Art class. Gotta make a human like animal exercizing. He really isn't human like but my teacher accepted it. I can't turn this one in cause I didn't do it with a pen tool. I just used the tablet. And I will say this now, you will be seeing a bit more of him later.Related content

this looks great! the lineart is fantastic, the character is really well drawn and really cool and i loooooooove the grass. my only problem is he looks a bit... 'shiny', but i guess that's just your style and i should shut up XDDD
the character design really is impressive. he's cute, but not restircted to being only 'cute. his color scheme, expression, and pose are all well executed. awesome job!

That shiny stuff isn't really my style. I liked the look so I tried it out on the bat. Normally my stuff is a bit plainer with the shiny. Or something!
And thank you, I am very proud of that pose. Its very hard for me to make up action poses so I was happy about this one.

His wings are my favorite part. Its so hard for me to make bat wings.
Tablets are great. Just make sure you don't rough it up too much. They can be a huge pain sometimes too. Mine wont let me reinstall it so I have to restart my computer contantly to use it. Its a piece of junk and its only half a year old.

Yeah, we have to use the line tool and its easy enough, but then you have to fill it in all on the same layer and if there is even something a little bit wrong with a line, the whole thing messes up. I hate it.

So what, do they think useing a tablet is cheating? I say if you have one you should be able to use it. It's not like it was cheap.

Well, we are learning to use the pen tool so if we use a tablet, we don't learn anything. He isn't teaching us to use the tablet so there isn't any point in using it anyways.

Yes but I can't just bring my tablet into class. I'd have to install it and everything. I don't think he would let me cheat with it anyways.
