thanks! Padma's expression was the most difficult, because I couldn't decide whether I wanted her to look sad, angry, annoyed, bored or disappointed.

Yes! It was a compliment, actually. Ladies from India have a beautiful arabian dance style, and I always thought both Padma and Parvati would look as exotic, yet elegant odalisc on the Yule Ball. I'd would have liked it that way.

a couple of years ago, I drew a design for Padma and Parvati's Yule Ball dresses: they are in my gallery if you would like to see them. They were based on a cross between Indian dresses and bellydancer outfits.
