A very interesting shot! It certainly struck me as I was flipping through the postings. I think the lighting works really well with some really nice contrast and saturation. You've corrected the perspective as well, which lets the viewer concentrate on the other aspects of the image. The blue in the windows creates an interesting contrast with the blue in the sky.
I think I can see why you left so much sky in the image, but I think you might want to consider cutting it down a bit. While it creates an interesting background for the rest of the image I'm not sure that the balance is quite right.

I disagree with GrumpyDiver on the crop. The shape of the "U" is that of a receptacle, like a sink or a large cook pot or the open mouth of a bird. So the large sky is the source of what it holds and makes conceptual sense aside from compositional purpose. GetCarter as a matter of style uses the negative space of large upper area empty expanses, such as sky, for stylistic, aesthetic effect and as a choice. So here it is consistent with his work. Cropping the sky makes it someone else's image and not his.

The question I always ask the photographier is "did you do this on purpose, or did it just happen that way".
If this was a deliberate decision, then it becomes a matter of personal interpretation or taste. Otherwise, it is simply a question for the photographer to consider the next time he or she comes along with a similar situation.

Thank you for your thoughts, if it comes to the composition you must know the location - it´s really hard to get a better crop as the surrounding isn´t sexy at all

I thought as much and had very much the same issue with one of my images. [link]
I just cropped it to balance things out a bit, and having puffy clouds out on the day I took the picture helped.

Ich bin beim Journalismus kleben geblieben.
Ob es wirklich tagesaktuelle politische Berichterstattung wird, steht allerdings noch in den Sternen. Bisher habe ich ein Jahr lang im Versicherungsjournalismus geschrieben. Das ist ein recht interessantes Feld, auch wenn mans vielleicht nicht meinen mag.
Mal sehen. Ohne Studium ist es ziemlich schwierig da Fuß zu fassen, deswegen mache ich jetzt erstmal das.
