Two deviations in two days? I'm on a roll!

Here is my half of an art trade with the wonderful Nifffi She requested Uta from Tokyo ghoul.

I've never watched any of Tokyo Ghoul (been meaning to, it looks cool), so I didn't know how to start on this one. Usually when I don't know a character, I put in the research and try to read up, but I decided to do something a little different this time, and just look up both fanart and official art to see if I could get a feel for his aesthetic. Hope I got it. XD

Unfortunately, it was really hard to find a good solid picture reference of his tattoos. I got frustrated and ended up doing copy pasta (credited below).

This was a really fun piece to work on!
