Its not the best tutorial, but it is for newbies. But, I did like the transparent border at the end of the tut. I've been trying to find out how to do that for like 1 or 2 months already.

This tutorial isn't for me or people that are experts with The GIMP. Its for people who are new to The GIMP. It allows them to get a feel for certain features.

My advice is to never use the colorize filter to color, use the render. I also reccomend that you stop using brushes as your main background layer, you should be doing alot more to that background. Not really liking this tutorial, mainly because it seems like just another brush 'n' blur tute. Sorry if I offended you.
