This is my contest entry for the 7 Deadly Sins Contest of AbstractMore

Here the task was to draw a picture based on one of the seven deadly sins. Since I prefer to draw dragons and wanted to practice expressions on dragons, I have decided to draw this picture. The dragon at the bottom, which looks full of envy at the beautiful, almost sacred seeming and flying dragon, is supposed to symbolize the theme of envy. I thought that he was formerly also an important dragon, which had a task and was perhaps also even considered a sacred dragon. Since he made a serious mistake at some point in the past, he was punished by being expelled from the ranks of his former comrades. They took away his ability to fly (which is where all the scars came from) and he eked out a living on the ground ever since. Every time he sees one of his former comrades in the sky, he can't help but look up at them with envy and sink more and more into darkness.
The white dragon seen in the sky is one of his former comrades who has taken his place and his task. The golden-yellow drop symbolizes something like the conception of an important task, which is now held by the white dragon.

Okay, that was a bit of a dark story. xD I guess I'm already looking forward to Halloween. xD
