It's hard to describe what I wanted to explain...but maybe I wanted to show something...fantastical.I like this kinda style, y'know, mixture of fantasy creatures and modern life. I used to love medieval fantasy, but somehow my taste changed and now I tend to draw more in this mixed style than in pure fantasy style.
Maybe I want some heartwarming feeling coz I know that living a life in the jungle of concrete buildings is tough? Maybe I want to keep innocent mind I used to have when I was a kid? Dunno...it's too abstract, and I myself can't explain what I have in my mind.
And, I don't know if I did it well. Nah. There are many errors in this picture(as usual XD), and I've just recognized I need much more training. Well, spending one month on it, I've just got completely drained. I'll take some rest now.
Entirely done on Photoshop6 as always.

My, Getty, even your older works never fail to inspire. I love the perspective you used on this piece, the high angle helps add impact to this picture. The buildings are beautifully done, so well done in fact that they look almost realistic. For the fairy on the roof, I love the wings (you are always good with wings. XD Did it take a plethora of practice??) and the way you colored her skirt. *.*
