"I hear footsteps! Our master's back!"Cats are always lovely. Neko~~!! XD
This time I just turned just-for-fun style so that I can recover from the biggest artist block ever had. I guess it's worked out and here it is.
At the same time, I've been trying to correct anatomy since this summer. As a result of on-train-training, it's got better than before.
Some may not like this just-cute-'n'-kawaii picture. I know. But the purpose of the picture was to regain the power and energy toward painting, which's been accomplished. Hence, it's OK...for now.
Finally, I'd like to show my total gratitude to all of the people who encouraged and supported me when I was completely stuck. Without your great support I wouldn't have resolved the problem. Thank you.
Everything from sketch through final effects done on Photoshop6 as usual.

The position of the light in this picture is acknowledges wonderfully, with the light rays, and the wonderful highlights on the girls legs, and the plant. I am really impressed with her legs, I find it so difficult to draw legs frount on and make it look real, its the top of the legs I find hard, however you have done wonderfully. I am happy that you got over your artists block, even with a 'cute girl' picture, that worked wonderfully.

I was once like you, that is, was unable to draw legs front on. Before starting this picture I found a reference in which curves of human body is so well done. Being affected and helped by his style I have successfully acquired how to explain human body. Thanks again, for loving my work. ^^/

If I may humbly add my own comment, I'd like to say that the way you did the lighting really brought a good mood to the picture, along with the colors you chose to employ. They really work for the pictures atmosphere. I think it's a very well done picture, particularly seeing as you said it was done after some major artists' block, which is a pain. Congrats!
