This one is probably my favorite pic of yours so far..The color..The very original CM..Her emotions..Her face...The wings threw me off..Then I saw "Flutter Pony", which if you've read enough fics, these poor creatures are the ones who are cursed into becoming Changelings...Hopefully either the toon or comic will give us their true origin.

As far as I know, the flutter ponies are from Flutter Valley and like to keep to themselves, but that's just the first series.
I wish they'd appear in the current series!

Would be interesting to see how they would be involved. While I never cared for the previous generations (The eldest sister in my family collected the toys and watched the movies), I do admit, some of the bad guys were pretty cool (Like Tirek and Grogar), and if you ever follow the Discorderly Conduct Tumblr, you'd see that the artist did a wonderful job updating the characters to fit the current series).

I don't see any of the older ponies in that blog, but it's still really cool!
I have my own theories about them. Ponyland is like 10,000 years ago or something like that. Then Friendship Gardens was more recent, in a different place. G3 Ponyville was more olden times, and current Equestria is modern-day. I don't know how well that fits together but it works for me.

Considering it's supposed to take place in the "FIM" universe, you won't see any of the previous generation ponies, although Discord does create illusions of the older characters like Firefly and Twilight Velvet to torment Tirek. This ended up changing him from this gentle forest ranger/caretaker into a major baddie. Discord also corrupts Queen Chrysalis and even himself through time travel (It also shows why he only has one fang.)

With her colors I'd go with Berry Waffle, or Waffle Cream due to her stripe. She's gorgeous!

Well the treat is basically a waffle with some kind of topping. Sometimes it's chocolate, sometimes it's spicy tuna, sometimes peanut butter with other things mixed in. It's sold in many kiosks and stands in Hong Kong.
