Awesome and sexy! Man. Why does Loki lookΒ HOTT even while he's being tortured? Rrrrr!
Btw, I came upon this picture as I was listening to Jackson 5/Jackson's song, "Torture". Go figure.

I very much like the suitably strung-out look on his face...

*wails* This is gorgeous, but it's also ripping my heart right out of my chest. Loki's suffering is so clear in his eyes, and now I'm desperate for someone (preferably Thor) to rescue him! *curses Odin, who is no doubt responsible for this*

Well, there's the myth.
After causing Baldr's death, the gods captured Loki. He had two children with Sigyn, so the gods also turned one of these children into a wolf; the wolf killed the other child and the gods tied Loki to a rock with the dead child's guts and made a very poisonous snake drip its poison on his face. According also to the myth, Sigyn satyed by Loki's side with a bowl on her hands to catch the poison, but every time the bowl was full she had to remove it and empty it. It was on those moments that some poison drops fell on Loki's face and the pain they caused was so big that he shook violently against the rock and chais that actually caused earthquakes. The myth also says he'll remain like that untill Ragnarok.
Anyway, this is a very short and bad written synopsis of the myth.
