Description
So, this is how Rose got the whip marks on her back. I had to use Google to find references.Rose's grandmother Aimee, really hated Rose due to her being darker. Aimee treated Rose as an 18th century slave. Rose was forced to work for hours, and severely punished if she messed up. The forced slavery and stress Rose faced caused to suffer nosebleeds, headaches, vomiting, chest pains, etc.. It also turned her into a paranoid, untrusting girl.
P.S.
Certain things can trigger Rose and cause her to have a panic attack. These triggers are her grandmother's name(Aimee), the sound or sight of a whip, burning building, and being told that she'll be punished.
