Just a one page comic (which isn't really comic at all lol) I whipped up featuring some sort of final battle between man and machine, based on the Animatrix's Second Renaissance.Related content

Nice artwork. I wish you'd expand on it but it's your call. I agree with MrHoot about the lack of Second Renaissance stuff here. Maybe the Animatrix wasn't as popular as the first film. I love all 4 films, although the first is the best.
I like how you captured the different machines in the beginning of the conflict, before the squiddies appeared. I also liked the helmeted soldiers and am glad you depicted them. I call them the Night Rangers for some reason, and imagine they fight close-quarters combat armed only with those batons. Rifles too, I guess.

They stood out to me also, mostly because of their hand to hand fighting. Too bad they didn't hold the machines back.

I wonder why there is so few fanart of the Second Renaissance, specially those picturing the operation Dark Storm.
You managed to capture that grim disturbing feel of the original battle sequence. I hope you'll make some more in the future.

I've always wanted to go back to Second Renaissance, there's a near infinite amount of material to work with, time and other projects always get in the way though, I may do more some time.
