You've got a very good style with heads and faces, but the hands are simply too small. If all else fails, use your head for scale. : D I find myself doing it too. The hand is typically from the chin to the eye brows, bottom of palm to tip of middle finger, maybe a little longer. The humerus typically goes down to the belly button, and the forearm/wrist goes down to the bottom of the hip. Just try to keep these in mind when you're drawing out the body and it'll come out good.
