the story was that when she was young, she was taken from her parents (they died soon after) and put into a lab where they did many tests. those tests put strain on her soul, causing it to crack to an unbearable amount. the cracking then caused the right eye (which had been torn out as a punishment) to decay. after she died and was reborn, the cracks began to become more noticeable. shes in an infinite loop of pain.
