Description
I got really bored one day and decided to create a map to the Scooby-Verse. I know it's a little rough (no pun intended) cause I'm new at flowcharts but I hope you enjoy it! If I got anything wrong please *KINDLY* let me know
I'd love for credit if you repost this but mainly I just hope you all find it fun to look at!
Some clarifications and explanations since the image itself is just a flowchart (and sorry for the text wall):
>The arrows are meant to help visualize what canon order properties go in due to the way I laid this out preventing some of them from being in a direct line. (i.e. 13 Ghosts is supposed to be followed by the modern timeline but I had to stick it to the right) ((also photoshop not having a good arrow tool I could use for everything is dumb))
>I didn't include any edutainment books/games cause that is an endless rabbithole I didn't want to try and sort out.
>The rounded rectangles indicate that a product takes place during another one. (i.e. Scoob: Holiday Haunt is going to be a special with the Scoob! incarnations of the gang as kids after they meet in the prologue but before the timeskip to them as teenagers)
>The episode of What's New? "A Terrifying Round With a Menacing Clown" (S3E8) has a flashback to the gang as kids, with the artstyle changing to that of the A Pup Named style. While it's not been explicitly confirmed that the two shows are directly connected (especially since the episode still uses the What's New? voices for Fred and Velma instead of their A Pup Named ones)
>While Boo Brothers, Ghoul School, and Reluctant Werewolf are all in the Hanna-Barbera Superstars 10 series and have Scrappy and Red Shirt!Shaggy, it's clear from the differences in the monsters that GS and RW share (like Dracula) that they are not within the same canon, and so I figured BB wouldn't be either.
>While the 'time travel' in Sword and the Scoob is part of the hoax, the sequence where the gang are knocked unconscious and *think* they are contains scenes from various past incarnations with the implication that it's the gang remembering their past.
>The Young Justice versions of Wonder Girl, Artemis, Zatanna, and Miss Martian appear watching WrestleMania in WrestleMania Mystery. It's never explicitly stated it's directly them but to be honest I just thought it was funnier to include it either way. (Also apparently the film shares some producers/directors with YJ)
>I branched off Zombie Island at Scrappy S1 since that was the last incarnation of the Where Are You? canon that used the classic setup before it went off the rails so I figured it made the most sense.
>As far as my research provided me, the modern timeline only made Zombie Island canon and not the proceeding 3 - 5 films.
>While Legend of the Vampire and Monster of Mexico use the What's New? artstyle, as far as I found they are actually meant to connect to the 90s direct-to-video films especially since they released prior to WN?. However I admit you could probably make a strong case against that.
>You could also argue that at the very least Project and Guess Who? connect to the Where Are You! timeline in some way but again as far as I found they're supposed to be their own universes.
If you have any other questions I will try my best to answer them (or maybe one of you other lovely Scooby experts can help), and if you have a counter to any of the above again please *KINDLY* let me know! I'm not gonna pretend like I'm the sole expert on the franchise so don't take this as WRITTEN IN STONE DEFINITIVE CANON
