Groaning you rolled onto the other side of your bed as the air from your small fan continued to do little to cool your scorching skin. You had done practically everything that came to mind to cool of. Taking a cold shower, wearing minimal clothing, even using ice packs. But each time it would only work for a few minutes, then your skin would boil over again with the outdoor heat.

"(Name) I'm home!" Called your boyfriend of two and a half years, Rin, said as he sat his swim team duffle bag onto the floor before taking off his sneakers. When he didn't hear your usual cheery voice greeting him before an embrace of your warm hug, Rin got confused as he walked further into the shared apartment. "(Name)?" He called your name once more as he walked closer to your shared bedroom.

"In here!" You shouted, laying flat on your bed, the small fan turned on max. Opening the bedroom door Rin couldn't help but laugh softly as he saw you. Your soft (H/C) locks pulled into a messy ballerina bun, a loose white tank top on with your (F/C) loose shorts around your hips as your skin glistened with sweat.

"What are you doing?" Rin said with a raised eyebrow as he laughed slightly louder when you rolled from the bed and onto the cool floor. "So..Hot!" You said as it came out slightly muffled, your face buried in the cool flooring. "I see.." Rin said dragging out the ending of 'see' before glancing over at your form.

Smirking to himself, Rin nodded slightly before walking into the kitchen and began to rummage through the fridge. Looking up from the floor, you furrowed your brows as you noticed Rin had left you. "Rin?" You questioned, getting up and looking around the house for him. "Put on your swim suit." Rin said simply as he walked up to you with a wooden basket, some shorts covering up his swim suit as he had on a simple red t-shirt.

"Where are we going?" You questioned him as you eyed the basket. "We, are going to go cool off, and... Maybe have a picnic." He said with a grin, his shark like teeth showing causing you to giggle. "Well alright then.." You said as you spun away from him and ran back to your shared bedroom, grabbing your (F/C) swimsuit and a (F/C/2) cover up before putting two towels in a bag along with your clothes and sunblock as you walked back to the door where Rin was tying on his shoes. "Ready?" You questioned, slipping on your black sandals.

"Let's go~!" You said bursting through the door as Rin chuckled as he picked up the basket once more and walked out behind you, locking the front door. "Oi! Slow down!" Rin said as he raced after your form that was already halfway down the street."You'll have to catch me, Rin-Rin!" You shouted as Rin let out a laugh as you two raced towards the beach.

"I wonder why no one is here?" You said as you walked onto the sand of the empty beach. "Hmm..Maybe they don't want to leave their cool apartments?" Rin questioned as he set down the basket and you set down the towel bag before Rin stripped from his shirt and shorts, along with his shoes. Stripping your cover-up and sandals you and Rin ran into the water as he quickly dove under the water. "Rin? Rin, where'd you go?" You said as you turned around looking for the red haired man.

Grabbing your feet from underneath the water, he pulled you under the water as you flailed around until the hands were gone and Rin popped up from the water, laughing his head off as you pouted. "Meanie!" You said, sticking your tongue out at him as you splashed him causing him to stop laughing.

Looking at each other Rin took in a deep breath before giving a playful smirk and splashed you with a large wave. "Rin!" You squealed as you desperately swam away from the shark-like swimmer as he chased after you. Pulling you up out of the water, Rin embraced you tightly as he pulled you both into the water. "Rin! I surrender!" You said giggling as he began to tickle you, you splashing your hands around in the water trying to get away from his hands.

Chuckling, Rin pulled you close as he kissed your forehead softly before picking you up out of the water. "Let's eat yeah?" Rin said with a grin as water droplets fell down his muscular chest before placing you on the sand. "What did you bring??" You asked curiously as Rin pulled the basket open and set down a large red and white blanket with little sharks on it.

"Really Rin..." You said with a giggle as you examined the little sharkies. "....They were cute okay?!" Rin said loudly with a blush, his fire eyes widened as he pulled out the food. Grabbing out a container of watermelon, grapes, and strawberries he set it down in the middle of you two before grabbing two sandwiches and (F/F) drinks. "Wow..It looks delicious!" You said as you opened up the fruit container.

Smirking proudly, Rin grinned before handing you a drink as you both held your hands together. "Itadakimasu!" You both said before Rin grabbed a grape and tossed it into his mouth as you giggled and took a bite out of your sandwich.

The sun soon began to set as you leaned your head against Rin's shoulder, watching the sun fall onto the waves as he rubbed gentle circles on your shoulder. "Thank you, Rin.." You said softly, giving him a soft kiss on the cheek as a rosy blush formed on his face. "Yeah, yeah...Anything for you..." He said looking away embarrassed causing you to giggle.

"I love you, Rin~!" You said in his ear as he blushed even harder. "I love you too (Name)." Rin said, sending you a soft caring smile that he never showed anyone but you. Smiling you pecked his lips softly as he grinned against your lips before returning it.
