Description
There is a drawing I thought never would work. But it endend looking exactly the way I wanted it to look and i love it. I took some liberties with Raven's skin and I like the result. Perhaps I'll use this tone more often, who knows. I though of naming this picture 'Loniness' but i think 'Somewhere' gives some hope to the situation
(you should know I'm not a BbRae fan, sorry).I used the same process as ever with a little difference: I used Macromedia Fireworks to compress the image. It looks a lot better than the compression I usually get using Paint Shop Pro. Oh, and I also started using Corel Draw X3. It made the job a little easier because of it's border detection feature.

I really like this one, especially the shading on her reflection, and the smoothness of her gems look really great. Plus the sky outside the window is really beautiful......
*Random:* Do you know the Within Temptation song 'Somewhere'? The bittersweet-hope feeling of this kinda reminds me of that song....

In fact, I dunno where my fellow BB/Rae fans got the idea that this was a pro-BB/Rae peice when Garfield is nowhere to be found.

Hm... Maybe it has osmething to do with the fact that, you could possibly interpret it as she's longing to be able to be with him, tantalized, or something along those lines....? This picture is very open for interpretation...

I love the shading~ and, of course, giving Raven an actual skin tone. It makes her, er... pop, I guess, being the focus. She also looks much healthier that way, no?
