Hi, my name is DanielMF and I'd like to apologize to you. On behalf of myself, not Modrealms, who I was a moderator for during the last couple months. I was always under the impression that the art used on their site was done by a member of staff or some other affiliate. But as soon as I became aware that they had in fact stolen the art, I knew I could no longer be associated with them(which I am not). I cared deeply for the team I worked with and the players that I tried to keep a fair and fun environment for, but feel no regrets in leaving. I got into a heated discussion with the owner of what had come to light and instead of admitting guilt or feeling any need to apologize, he simply said it was a mistake(it was more than that, it was wrong). Even after he acknowledged that the art was taken from google and they'd made no attempt to find or contact the artist responsible(you). As an artist that's also had my work used without permission, I simply couldn't abide this or give my time and effort to support their project. I also found it insulting that they would now say they were(and possibly have) reaching out to you to ask for your permission. Months(possibly a year or more, I have no idea the length of use) after using your work to represent themselves (and the players loved your work, as did I .. you're a brilliant artist) without having that permission. To me, that's like stealing money from someone, then once caught saying "sorry! .. oh, but can i still have the money?". It's ridiculous and again I cut my ties with them once I found out, so I can only apologize that someone would do that and that it happened to you. I wish you nothing but success and that no one else does this with your work.
