Here's my Riddler reimagining so far. Not much has changed in terms of his origin story except that he's on the spectrum like me, but you might still like the description.

OCD needs to be taken more seriously in my opinion. Some people see it as a joke but it’s not! My gf has it badly and struggles with it as well..
The reason why I think the Riddler would have it is I imagine he makes all of his plans/traps to be perfect, if Batman or anyone else can solve it quickly then something was off and it wasn’t perfect and I would imagine he be going crazy over it. It’s not because they were smart and figured it out, it’s because there was a flaw on his part (well how he sees it anyways)

IKR? People think OCD is just about keeping things spotless and/or germ-free, when really it takes on so many other forms, which I have myself - intrusive thoughts about harming loved ones, religious fears, even intrusive thoughts about sexual things I find disgusting, the last of which being the most frightening and humiliating for me personally. I'm thankful I at least have artwork to help me channel most of that shit.
That mixed with my autism causes me so many facial tics and night terrors. I hope things get better for your GF as well. It can be extremely painful for people who experience it when they try to enjoy being with who they love most. 
And the Riddler in this clip is so much like me when I screw up something big - up all night, ruminating out loud about my mistakes that could have been easily avoided. I'm not much of a theorist when it comes to fiction, but a part of me can't help feeling as if the Riddler is on the spectrum.

Clock King keeping a strict and tight schedule and freaking out when it goes not according to plan.
Two Face relies on his coin to make his decisions.
