The girl’s (E/C) eyes were fixed on the scenario in front of her. Titans who invaded the next District. Civilians who were not fast enough to run away. Even Soldiers were not fast enough to really save any of those innocent people. Before their eyes laid a scenario of destruction, fear, hopelessness and death. How many people here probably just lost their life’s…? How many civilians, how many soldiers who dedicated their lives to the king and their hearts to the protection of people died at the hands of monstrous Titans…?

With them is (F/N), like the other soldiers she dedicated her live without ifs and buts to one single goal. She wanted to protect Eren. She knew Mikasa was there to protect him but she felt like it wasn’t enough. She wanted to help, she wanted to be strong. But she failed. Her family died a horrible death, eaten by titans. But then again she was only a child back then.
People are afraid of Eren and his ability but not her. Even if every single human being is afraid of him, she will stand by his side and keep him company. What matters is that Eren is okay, that she is with him, that he never leaves her.

She didn’t want to be left by him. She didn’t want to be alone again, to feel the darkness again, and to feel left alone. She didn’t care, all that was important to her seemed lost. Why would they still fight for their lives? For their freedom? They were worthless cattle inside the walls, too scared to make even one step out. Hiding like mice behind giant walls in hope that the evil cat won’t get them. One day the cat will know how to break throw and eat them.

The Titans are no different.

She griped the handles of her swords tightly, when she hastily looked around. She was looking for Eren, she had to know where he was to make sure he was okay. He acted so hasty at times. But she could see him nowhere. Just like Armin. Has something happened to them? Immediately the (H/C) girl swung herself up to the higher roof and eyed the battle. Where was he…? When she saw Jean on a nearby rooftop, she called out to him.

“Jean!”

The addressed male looked instantly in her direction, a faint smile on his lips.

“Yes, (F/N)?” asked the brown haired male

“Have you seen Eren?”

And now the smile was replaced by a frown, as he only growled softly and pissed off.

“No, I didn’t and I’m not interested where he is. He may already be dead.”

With that said, (F/N) send him a scowl, which seemed almost like a death glare. She shouldn’t have asked him. She knew that he liked Mikasa and the fact that Eren and her where so close angered him. But nonetheless Jean might be right and he is dead. No, she couldn’t think like that

She put her arms around herself, trying to soothe herself and to think clearly but it didn’t help. Again and again the picture of Eren lying dead in his own pool of blood, scared her. To think that she lost him forever.

She was determined to find Eren alive. When she noticed that Jean came to her roof, she let her arms fall to the side again. It appears that he was worried about her and wanted to comfort her, but she didn’t need it. She was strong, very strong. She would protect everyone and everything that was dear to her. So she jumped to the next roof and left Jean behind, who had flinched due to her sudden movement.

She had no time to lose. Her eyes wandered to the left, as she discovered a seven-meter Titan. And where Titans are, is usually Eren. The girl swung in its direction and cut a piece of flesh from the neck of the titan, so that its lifeless body fell to the ground. Her eyes scanned the area. Nowhere was Eren. She had to continue looking.

She swung through this dreary district that the Titans took over. She could see almost everyone. Annie, Reiner, Berthold, Connie even Sasha but not a trace of Armin or Eren. If she would only find Armin…

“Armin” she shouted suddenly, as the frightened blonde turned to his friend and came to a stop beside her.

“(F-F/N)…” he said frightened. He had to fend for himself but he is more of a strategist than a fighter.

“Where’s Eren?”

(F/N)’s words constricted his throat, as he swallowed and looked down.

“I-I don’t know. He led a titan away from me.”

Armin trailed off as tears began to form in is blue eyes. (F/N) immediately knew that this meant nothing good. Suddenly she grabbed him by the shoulders and tried to calm him down.

“In which direction did he go? Armin, please tell me.” She urged him and bit herself gently in her lower lip. Eren wasn’t allowed to turn into a Titan so it was difficult to find him. (F/N) had no choice but to search for him and hope that nothing bad had happened.

Armin’s right hand pointed in the northwest direction. She began to move in this direction with great speed.

‘Faster, faster, faster!’ This words where the only thing she thought at that moment, when she saw a Titan and a brown-haired boy riding a horse. She didn’t need to think twice to know that this was Eren.

The horse turned left. Unknowing that this is a dead end. The horse came to a halt and Eren’s eyes widened when he heard the pounding of the titan behind him. What should he do? Transform himself into a titan and expect to get punished later on? He gritted his teeth, squinted his eyes and thought hard. His maneuver Gear did not work, the devil knows why. The only thing that he knew is that he would definitely die if he didn’t think of an idea quickly. He jumped from his horse and looked directly at the twelve-meter class titan. He raised his hand but then he saw someone flew past him that killed the titan.

This person landed in front of him and before he could look at her, her arms flew around him in a tight embrace, thus falling both the ground. Due to the soft (H/C) he could identify this person, it was (F/N). He put an arm around her frame and hugged her.

“What’s going in (F/-“

“Idiot.” She interrupted him immediately, put a little distance between them both, so he could look into her teary eyes.

Eren paused for a moment. He wasn’t aware of any guilt. So why did she call him an idiot and cried?

“But (F/N), I-!”

“I’ve told you to stay close to the others, right? What if I hadn’t shown up or even searched for you? You would have died and I had lost my love.”

After that statement were both silent, only the little sobs from the girl could be heard. Eren had to process what she just said. Her love? Does this mean she loves him? Or had he heard wrong?

“What are you two doing down there?” said a cold voice.

(F/N) immediately released him and looked in the direction from where she heard the voice. And to their horror it was the man who both didn’t want to see at this moment.

“C-Corporal!” Eren said taken aback. He had not expected him to be so far away from the battlefield.

“Listen kid, that’s an order” Rivaille started and looked to both on the ground. “Use your Titan power and support the soldiers who are left”

And after these words Rivaille disappeared as quickly as he appeared. Eren turned to (F/N) and took her hands only to squeeze them a little. “Your swords are extremely worn out and your gas should be almost empty too. I gave my equipment to Connie since his was broken, but that doesn’t matter.” Eren took a deep breath in and out as he grinned broadly. “This time I’ll protect you (F/N). And I love you too.”

With this words said, he turned away and bit in his hand. A bright light flashed throw the sky and he transformed into a titan, before her eyes. The first Titan that came to them was immediately killed by Eren. (F/N) had to admit…

The little boy who needed always protection, is grown up to a man and can now protect the girl he loves.

This realization brought a small, barely audible, yet beautiful smile on her lips.

“I love you, Eren Jaeger!” she screamed to the Titan boy and giggled to herself

She loved that boy so much…
