Description
Well, this is my first full shoot with my Mamiya. I posted this in my journal awhile back, now it's time to post it for real. 57 Chevy of course. Taken with the 55 mm wide angle... yes it's wide angle, it's medium format after all. Processed here by me, and scanned. I didn't want to retouch it just because it adds character to the image. Enjoy!Edit:
Well, the other ver. was nice, but after hours of messing with the original negative, I've decided that this ver. is much better.
Much like the car, the image has been reworked and made (more) beautiful.

Love the vintage look, it looks like it could really be a shot from the 50's! Congrats on owning such an amazing car, btw

i love it! my ultimate car would be an 1957 Chevy Bel Air Sports Coupe convertible, shiny black and white with gray flame decals on the nose.

I'm in love with the format... and is that a reflection on the trunk?
Great stuff. Go Chris!

Wow, cool. I really like the texture. Was that on purpose? I like how you kept the film frame in the image.
Mamiya... Mamiya... I think that I have an old Mamiya. An old aperature-priority SLR, use to be my moms. I should dig that thing out and see. I remember that its shutter would stick on the lower half while opening, so every shot would have a small sliver of underexposed area... I called it my signature.
Nice work! Instant !

LOL. Well the texture came about from the negative sleeve it was in, so it has that look... but I was debating on rescaning it, but I like it with the look more than without it.
