nice photo

great closeup, like how the image is quite clear, and the features of the statue are quite distinct, even with the heavy shadows. the lighting ihas some nice variation in tone, it almost looks as if it was shot in black and white, but the slight hint of colour makes it more interesting to look at.

Nice angle. I've taken probably a hundred pictures of that statue and couldn't get that lighting. I got better lighting on one of the little guys at the base (assuming this is the Ghandi statue in Downtown Riverside).

Great job. I love the DOF and the quote.
