Description
I decided to reshoot this photo. Some of my longtime viewers may recall a similar photo awhile ago. I wasn't happy with the composition and therefore deleted it. This is the new photo.Canon 30D
Canon EF 28-135 IS

OK, I love this photo, but i have a question. This looks like it was taken in darm lighting. I have alot of trouble with taking photos in dark lighting. I love the look of this and I have been trying to capture a similar look with portraits. I cant do it. THey turn out looking extremely grainy and fuzzy no matter what I put the settings on. What do you use?

I shoot most of my stuff on AV or aperture value mode. I have a Canon 30D SLR which helps immensely with low light photography because it handles the noise very very well. As you noticed in my other photo Sunny Delight II it handles bright curcumstances well too. Depending on what camera you have etc the best things that you can use are a noise reduction program (i.e. Noise Ninja) and a fast lens such as an f1.4 lens... The lower the aperture value the more light is allowed to enter the camera thus affecting the shutter speed which will decrease your camera shake. Hope that helps.... lol
